Chipotle Mexican Grill is the latest restaurant to provide customers an incentive to get vaccinated. The eatery is offered a buy-one-get-one free burritos deal on June 30, 2021. Starting Thursday, July 6, it will be offering free entrées with a purchase of an entrée after 3 pm. This offer is only valid in-person and cannot be used as delivery or an online order. The only thing that needs to be said is “Friends BOGO" during checkout, to get this deal.
The company's promotion is part of the National Month of Action for vaccinations. This is an effort by President Joe Biden's administration to get at least 70% of US adults vaccinated by the Fourth of July.
Although the White House admitted last month that it would fall short of reaching the goal, Biden continued to push for Americans to get vaccinated. "My fellow Americans, it's the most patriotic thing you can do." he said during a Fourth of July party Sunday. "So please, if you haven't gotten vaccinated, do it now. For yourselves, for your loved ones, for your community."
There are other perks for those who are vaccinated like:
Free donut to customers who show vaccination card at Krispy Kreme.
Free childcare at Kindercare or the YMCA.
10% off of your purchase at Albertsons.
At Vitamin Shoppe, free healthy snack or beverage after getting vaccinated.
Some of the perks do not require proof of vaccination. It is the organizations support for the National Vaccination Action Month.
