Pledge to end Racial Injustice
In the wake of police brutality and murders, discrimination is on the forefront yet again in the United States. Many corporations have pledged towards turning racial injustice into one that is more just. Besides Microsoft, Comcast, Amazon, and many others, Eli Lilly and Company Foundation makes a pledge of $25 million dollars to combat racial injustice. The Foundation also has pledged 25,000 volunteer hours over a course of five years to help decrease the effects and burdens of racial injustice in marginalized communities of color.
This commitment was made during a virtual event in partnership with the Indianapolis Recorder Newspaper, Indianapolis’ oldest Adrian American Newspaper, Radio One, and WISH-TV.
