From JayZ & Beyoncé to Cardi B- Justice for George Floyd

The past few weeks have been another chapter in the fight for black america.

With the recent homicide, as defined by two autopsies, of George Floyd. ex-officer Derek Chauvin, placed his knee into Floyd's neck while in handcuffs. people have expressed their rage and objection with this injustice by taking to the streets with protests.

Among those peacefully protesting in Minneapolis, Minnesota are Nick Cannon, Lil Yachty, and Bun B , who are all rappers.

Others delivered powerful messages expressing their objections for the senseless death of an unarmed black man and the injustice shared by Black people systematically in their daily lives. Here is what they had to say:

Beyonce-

Jay-Z: "...Thank you to Governor Walz for doing what's right and calling in Attorney General Keith Ellison to take over the George Floyd case... This is just a first step. I am more determined to fight for justice than any fight my would-be oppressors may have. I prevail on every politician, prosecutor and officer in the country to have the courage to do what is right. Have the courage to look at us as humans, dads, brothers, sisters and mothers in pain and look at yourselves."
