Gun Sales reduced at Walmart

On Tuesday, September 3, 2019, Walmart announced that it would scale back on the amount of firearms and short-barrell ammunition sold at their store.

This announcement comes a month later after over 20 people have died in recent mass shootings, including El Paso, TX mass shooting.

Walmart will still sell long-barrell shotguns and deer rifles but they will not allow individuals to openly carry handguns in majority of their stores. Concealed weapons with a permit will still be allowed.
